Dear Mr. Burkman, Karl and Gerald:
I am so sadden for your loss, Ms Winnie holds such a special place in my heart. She was family to me all of you were. I would always tired to stop by and see her when I was in town, see was always so excited to see me and wanted to see pictures and news of the kids.
It sadden me for Billy's funeral to see her so sick, she always represented such strength and love to me, I swear she was the hardest working women I have ever known. She loved her kids and grandkids with ever breath in her, she was so proud of all.
I called her several months ago when Mom told me things were not good, she was so excited like she always was when she saw me, that I had called her. I can remember her telling me she lived a good life and was really for the Lord's next step -- I loved her very very much, she was so brave.
I wish I could be there with all of you, but know you are in my heart and prayers during this time of grieving.
If there is anything my family can do please do not hesitate to call. She was my mother's dearest friend and I know she too is grieving the loss. Take care and God Bless.
