Wilma "Sis" Smith Thibodeaux's Obituary
Wilma "Sis" Smith Thibodeaux passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the age of 83.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Edwards Cemetery in Richard.
Wilma is survived by two daughters, Linda Picard and husband John of Eunice, Jeanette Leger and husband John of Eunice; one son, Robert Thibodeaux and wife Donna of Eunice; one sister, Cecile Thibodeaux of Jennings; and nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Smith and Belle Lavergne Savoy; one son, Linton Thibodeaux; two sisters, Mae Ruth Joubert and Ida Briscoe; four brothers, Lawrence Smith, Wilfred Smith, Ray Paul Smith, and Kenneth Smith.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 9 a.m to 10 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon David Guillory at 7 p.m. that evening. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. on Wednesday for visitation until time of service.
