I never had the opportunity to see R visit with Willard since graduation but thought of him often. My prayers R with he & family.
Mr. Willard loved, was proud of and ever protective of his family. He sure knew how to spin a good story/tale. I will forever be grateful for the kindness he showed me and treating me as a member of his family...even the teasing that was part of the family tie bargain! He may be gone but he will certainly never be forgotten and the love will remain forever. My love, thoughts and support are with all of you. You in my heart. And I know you have great stories & memories to share. May these memories comfort you during this most difficult time.
Willard was so larger-than-life that it's hard to imagine this world without him. He teased, he needled, he irritated and infuriated - and, if he considered you to be family, he was an equal-opportunity offender. He was funny and had the best "we were so poor" jokes on the planet.
