Wayne Maurice Shea's Obituary
Wayne Maurice Shea passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019 at the age of 73. No Services have been planned at this time. Wayne had a heart of gold and will be fondly remembered by family and friends.
Wayne and Cathy Carolyn Prejean were married on April 6, 1991 by Justice of the Peace Charlie R Kerner. They then had their wedding renewal blessing on April 4, 1998 by Deacon Ernest Elfer, Jr. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church in Westwego, La.
Wayne was a veteran of The US Navy where he was honorably discharged from duty after six years.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Cathy (Carolyn) Prejean Shea; three sons, Patrick Shea, Steven Shea and wife Paula, Sean Shea; three daughters, Tammy Shea, Sheramy Brewer, Stacy Brewer LaCombe and husband Cody LaCombe; one sister, Claire Shea Bradley; nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice Shea and Dorothy South Shea; one brother, John Shea; two sisters, Nancy Shea Legendre, Marie Shea Verbois.
