Walter Craig Manuel's Obituary
Walter “Craig” Manuel, age 73, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 1:30 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Sam Fontana officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held the same day from 8:30 AM until time of services.
Craig was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He especially loved woodworking and fishing, passions that brought him peace and joy and reflected his patient, hardworking nature.
He was also a member of St. Thomas More Knight of Columbus council 10428, which empowered him to live his faith through charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.
He is survived by his wonderful wife, Jackie Long Manuel; his three loving daughters, Johnnie Ruth Naquin (Nelton), Jessica Dischler (David), and Frankie Podrat; two brothers, Johnny Manuel (Cheryl) and Dwayne Manuel (Patricia); one sister, Janet Prudhomme (Butch); five grandchildren, Peyton, Madison, Logan (Heidi), Leigha, and Caroline; and one great-grandchild, Emmy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Manuel and Ruth Miller Manuel.
Craig will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
