Virgie Richard Lejeune's Obituary
Virgie Richard Lejeune passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014, at the age of 90.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic
Church in Eunice. Msg. Bob Romero will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Edward Cemetery in Richard.
Virgie is survived by one son, Gerald Lejeune and wife Eloise of Eunice; one brother, Delton Richard of
Church Point; one sister, Lilie Mae Lejeune of Welsh; two grandchildren, Tony Lejeune and Tracy Manuel;
seven great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren.
Virgie was preceded in death by her parents; Angelas Richard and Lucille Doucet Richard; her husband,
Isaac Lejeune; one sister, Lillian Mott; four brothers, Felix Richard, Rufus Richard, Rodney Richard, and
Ervin Richard; and one great-grandson, Brett Manuel.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2014, at 9 a.m. and will be open all
night until the time of service on Saturday. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Friday evening by Deacon
Chuck Ortego.
