Travis Joseph Trumps' Obituary
Travis Joseph Trumps, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, February 23, 2026 at Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
As per his wishes, there will be no visitation.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1971 until his retirement in 1991. Rising to the rank of Master Sergeant (MSGT), he demonstrated unwavering dedication, leadership, and integrity throughout his military career. His years of service reflected his deep commitment to duty, honor, and country, and he carried the values he learned in the Air Force with him throughout his life.
Travis is survived by his wife, Zsuzsanna Szarka Trumps; two brothers, Stephen Trumps and his wife, Vicky; Truman “Bubby” Trumps, Jr.; four sisters, Sadie Trumps, Lisa Trumps, Christine Trumps and Nancy Trumps, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Truman Trumps, Sr. and Evelyn Dietz Trumps; one brother, Frederick Trumps and one sister, Judith Trumps Paul.
