It's hard to find words. Sharon and I were raised together. My Uncle Tommy married her Aunt Clara (Aunt Puddin). So besides going through school together, we were always around each other. I would often "spend the night" on weekends-up all night listening to her sing, talking about boys, sharing laughter and tears sometimes, and our hopes and dreams. I will miss your smile, your spirit, your vocals, and advice. Rest easy now. I will always hold you in my heart Sharon Denise.

I am Alice Cooper Watley, and Sharon and I were neighbors from infancy until we both went on to start our own families. We attended school and church together, where we sang in the choir. Sharon was blessed with a beautiful voice and frequently led songs in the choir, even as a young girl. I can still recall Mrs. Alice Cole encouraging her with, "Sing, Sharon," every time she led or sang solos, which was often, as she was not shy, unlike some of us in the choir, lol , she possessed exceptional vocal talent. I cherish the memories of us playing together, spending nights together, being in school and various other activities growing up as kids and young ladies and constantly singing, pretending to be stars. Her family can find solace in knowing that Sharon is now singing in the Heavenly Choir, reunited with her family and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, whom she loved dearly. She will be truly missed. Fly high, my sister in Christ; you will always be in my thoughts, and your children, grandchildren, and family will remain in our prayers.
Sharon and I went through our entire school days together, From East Elementary to Central Middle School. On to Eunice Jr High and Eunice High. May She Rest In Heavenly Peace she sang soo beautiful and was very kindhearted. Prayers for her family and her grandbabies whom she loved soo dearly
