Sharan Kay was a loving and devoted wife (of 54 years), mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all.
She was a Jane-of-all-Trades, known for her many entrepreneurial feats - including authoring two books, Legacies and Walkaway Sam.
Sharan was mostly known, however, for her kindness, compassion, great cooking skills, and wonderful sense of humor. All were welcomed into her home and quickly became loved as family. She was gracious. funny, had a contagious laugh, and one of the biggest and most accepting hearts that knew no boundaries. And, once she loved you, she loved hard.
Her legacy is, by far, her family. Sharan's heart has been seen by God in the reflection of her love for her son and daughter and their beautiful families. Her commitment and loyalty as a mom and wife set the bar for unconditional love.
Sharan Kay Boulet Bellard's fun spirit, loving nature, and sweet disposition will be missed, but reflected on in many stories and memories she leaves behind.
Sharan is survived by her husband, J.T. Bellard; one son, Shannon Bellard; one daughter, Kristi Bellard (Todd); four sisters, Laura Thibodeaux, Susan Bergeron, Tillie Guillory, Cora “Tut” Marcantel, and special aunt/sister, Beverly Slaughter; dear friend, Nadine Breaux; seven grandchildren, Erin, Trevor, John-Michael, Corianne, Hannah, Peyton, Noah; four great grandchildren, Henley, Andi, Theo, Nico.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Boulet and Agnes Guillory Boulet.
