Poochie knew and loved everyone and was loved in return. His generosity and friendship were sought after and appreciated by all. He loved to laugh and be surrounded by people. Everyone felt special because of his kind, loving nature. He enjoyed spending time in his yard, gardening (particularly proud of his satsuma trees), watching LSU, and cooking. Poochie's ultimate joy was playing with his grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Special times for Poochie included evening prayer time in adoration chapel and attending mass at St. Anthony's. There, he gave thanks to God for his beautiful family and the wonderful life he lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Catholic Charities USA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clevaine & Lenice Fontenot.
