Paul Johnson's Obituary
Paul Johnson, 49, of Kinder, LA passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016.
Paul was born on October 23, 1966 in Eunice, LA and was raised in Basile, LA. Paul has lived in the
Indian Village community for the past 9 years. He worked as a pipe fitter and later as an estimator. He
was a weather enthusiast and in his early teens had correspondence with meteorologists Rob Robin and
Dick Faurot. Paul was a huge fan of Sammy Hagar and realized his dream of meeting him with VIP
passes to a concert in April 2011. Paul was also an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints. He enjoyed
cooking, especially barbequeing.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Heather and Trevor; his mother, Mary Johnson; three
brothers, Terry (Alisha), Kurt (Desiree'), and Aaron Johnson.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, Roland Johnson.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Basile.
Visitation will begin on Monday, April 25, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and continuing Tuesday morning
from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Indian Village Cemetery in
Indian Village. Reverend Lawrence Daigle will officiate.
