Nezida "Dada" Thibodeaux Daigle's Obituary
Nezida “Dada” Thibodeaux Daigle, age 93, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at St. Thomas More with Father Sam Fontana Celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
At the request of family, visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from noon until 10:00 PM, with a Rosary at 6:00 PM by Father Sam. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Wednesday until time of departure for services.
“Dada” is survived by one son, Ray Daigle (Becky); one daughter, Clarice Godeaux (Carl); one sister, Mary Ann Fontenot (Chester); four grandchildren, Joseph Shane Daigle (Gena), Toby Orise Daigle (Megan), Anna Chantell Daigle, Shelly Marie Holley (Anthony); eight great-grandchildren, Lauryn Zaunbrecher, Vivian Daigle, Noah Daigle, Nick Daigle, Gianna Daigle, Wyatt Daigle, Wade Holley, Justin Holley; four great-great grandchildren, Maryelle Zaunbrecher, Eleanor Zaunbrecher, River Daigle and Colter Holley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Daigle; her parents, Martin Thibodeaux and Edith (Thibodeaux) Thibodeaux; one brother, Preston Thibodeaux and one grandchild, Gracie Claire Daigle.
