Nelson is survived by two sons, Clifford Carriere, Dakoyta Bell; two sisters, Rose Benoit, Susie Fontenot and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Burlin Paul and
Evelyn Guilbeau Carriere; two brothers, Dale Carriere, Gary Carriere and one sister, Sandra Ardoin.
