The doctor was the best thing that happened to me, he saved my life and I will never believe he did anything wrong. He was a great man. I just googled to find out where he was practicing and was shocked he had died. What a shame.

Words can not express the sorrow in my heart. I have not felt this much sorrow since my own son died. Dr.Mike and I were praying the rosary when Damian died. I knew then he was not the ordinary doctor. He stayed with me and my family until the end and we have kept in touch for the last 16 years. Anyone who knew him knows what a loving and gentle soul he was. My prayers are with him and his mother and siblings. May God keep his children safe and strong going forward. God Bless the Landreneau Family.

I am so sorry to hear about Dr.Laundreneau. He took care of my dad when he was dying of pancreatitus. It was comforting to know that he had a dr that was a Chrsitian and believed in prayer. We have no doubt that he did everything in his power to save him. After each surgery, he would come out and say to us...."God Smiled" and he made it through this one. He will always have a special place in the hearts of the VonWedells!
My heart and prayers go out to the family of Dr. Landreneau. He was a wonderful and caring doctor. We had the pleasure of him taking care of our dad while he was in Joplin. We appreciated his prayers each night when he would speak with us. Dr. Landreneau was an amazing surgeon, as he always put it, by the grace of God. The family is in my thoughts and prayers. God bless your family.
I was sad to hear of the death of Michael Landreneau this evening. Mike welcomed me to Joplin when I move here in 1994. Mike and I shared many patients for several years. He was an excellent surgeon and possessed skills that few could match. His dedication to his patients was awesome and his patients loved him dearly. Mike also loved his family dearly and my prayers are with them tonight.

My condolences to Mike's family. We have lost a great surgeon. Mike was my doctor and a wonderful friend while he was in Joplin. He was such a caring man. In my opinion as well as many of his patients in Joplin considered him the greatest. He cared for and prayed with us. Joplin will never have any greater doctor than Dr. Mike. May God bless all his family, he was proud of you all.
Uncle Mike was such a great influence in my life. When I was younger, I spent hours on end with him, and every experience I had was truly a learning one. One thing that I especially loved about him was his youthful spirit. As a child, I knew he was playing with me and not just watching me play. And really, the attitude and love he had toward me and the times I shared with him have made him a role model in my life. When I saw the way he interacted with Kandace Lee and Darrick, it was no doubt ALL out of love ALL the time. When I have kids, I want to be a great influence to them just as he was to me. I have prayed for your whole family and will continue to do so. I pray God continues to bless you all.
Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
