Ricky and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Maw Maw's passing. She was a very special lady and will be truly missed. There will be a big hole in everyone's heart. She is in a great place now and I am sure she is enjoying herself being with her loved ones again. She is probably already working on a jigsaw puzzle. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Ricky,Your mother was a wonderful person who suffered many heartaches but always remained loving and kind. Mom died two days before Christmas, in December just like your mom. As you can imagine we were sad because of her death, but also because it was the Christmas season. Someone from the hospital staff gave us this lovely poem which touched our heart. I hope it helps to console you in your time of grieve.Do not be sadRejoice and be glad. For I am spending Christmas in Heaven this year. And it is so beautiful here.I see the countless Christmas trees around the world belowWith tiny lights like Heaven's stars reflecting on the snow. The sight is so spectacular please wipe away that tear for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear But the sound of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here.I have not words to tell you of the Joy their voices bringFor it is beyond description to hear the angels sing.I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your hearts for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.I cannot tell you of the splendor or the peace here in this place can you just imagine Christmas with the Savior face to face.I'll ask him to lift your spirit as I tell him of your love So then pray for one another as you lift your eyes above. Please let your hearts be joyful and let your spirit sing For I am spending Christmas in Heaven and I'm walking With the King!I don't know who originally wrote the poem, but I only hope it brings you as much consolation as it brought me and my sister. Our deepest sympathies,Cynthia Broussard and Gwen Morell
