Merlin Paul Moreau's Obituary
Merlin Paul Moreau passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at the age of 79.
Visitation will begin on Friday at 8:30 AM at St. Anthony's until service time.
The rosary will be prayed at 9:30 AM
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015, at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic
Church. Father Randall Moreau will officiate alongside Very Reverend Monsignor Robert Romero.
Merlin is survived by his beloved wife, Lizzy Moreau and his five children, Stephanie Guillory, Father Randall
Moreau, Angie Moreau, Nicky Moreau, and Kim Ronquillo. He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren
and nine great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brother, Jerry Moreau of Idaho and his sister, Mona
Fuselier of Lake Charles.
Merlin was preceded in death by his parents, Alphan Moreau and Bernice Hussman; his brother Thomas
Hussman; and his sister, Carlene Moreau.
Merlin's greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends. He was a lover of the outdoors and he
could usually be found hunting or fishing which brought him immense joy.
As the head of our family, Merlin taught us all the importance of a strong relationship with God. His examples of
great faith will remain with us forever.
