Pete and I are so very sorry for yalls loss. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.
From Aunt Lolly and children - Our hearts go out to all of you at this time of sorrow. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
We are saddened by the news of Melanie's passing. She was such a sweet person and cousin. While younger, we enjoyed many visits from cousins and did more playing back then. Those were the fun times when we spent more time outdoors making up our own games and fun. Of course, after growing up and starting our own families, you lose touch with your cousins, but you never forget those memories. My last memory of Melanie was reacquainting at family funerals that we both attended. That is when you are able to see your long lost family members. Melanie was always full of laughter and spoke proudly of her children and memories. She will be greatly missed. May the family be comforted by our God.
My Sister was not only a mom to her kids but to me as well when I was younger . She took care of me while my mom worked not only that she would hide me when my mom was coming to give me a spanking for something I had done wrong .she played board games with me and we danced and sang songs in her room . She also would carry me on her hip when she went for long walks with her friend..she would try to leave me behind but all I had to do was give her that sad face at the end of the drive way and she would come back and get me every time . As we grew older she had children and I was very jealous of her first son but she made it ok because she made me a part of it I became like a big sister to her son..Those are the memories I will hold dear to my heart ? she will be missed because she was the sister I could go to with all my troubles and get understanding love and compassion from..her last text to me says I love you sister ..
I am so very sorry ! She will alwsy be my aunt mel !!
