Mary Guillory Poullard's Obituary
Funeral Services will be held on August 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home for Mary Poullard who passed away August 13, 2012 at St. John Hospital in Houston, TX. Services will be conducted by Patrick Martin. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Mary Poullard was born on March 27, 1926 to Orelia and Joseph Guillory of Eunice, LA. On December 9, 1944 she married her first and only love, Wallace Poullard, who was called to rest in 2008. They were a great couple who left a wonderful legacy of love for their six daughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orelia and Joseph Guillory; her husband, Wallace Poullard; six sisters, Elvonia Guillory, Lucy Mae Gradney, Viola Leday, Gussie Mac Lavergne, Bernadine Parker, and Janie Mae Vigers; two brothers, Albert and Ray Allen Guillory.
Mary was a mild, meek, and hardworking woman dedicated to her family. At an early age, she received Christ and in later years, she joined Jehovah's Witnesses and has been a faithful servant for over 30 years.
She leaves to cherish her memories; six daughters, Meriva Fontenot of Eunice, LA; Lorena Wilkins (Rayford) of Dallas, TX; Loretta Castille (Francis) of Lafayette, LA; Syvonia Issac (Rogers) of Friendswood, TX; Dorothy Allison (Camel Ray) of Friendswood, TX; and Sylvia Martin (Patrick) of Ringgold, GA; tow brothers Joseph Jr. and Marion Guillory; fourteen grandchildren, Tracy Colllins (Tian); Donovan Campbell (Andrea); Pamela Bishop (Harold II); Melanie Chaisson (Kevin); Danell Isaac, Dwayne Isaac, Victoria Allen (Marcus); Camel Ray Allison Jr. (Jennifer); D'Andre Allison (Tanya); Joel Martin; Jarrett Martin (India); Joni Martin; Jamie Martin, and Jaron Martin; twenty great grandchildren, (Tracy) Jamie Fontenot, Jasmine Golden, Crystal Bryant and Anthony Powell; (Donovan) Dylan, Justin, and Ayden Campbell; (Pamela) Trey, Brandon, and Lauren Grace Bishop; (Melanie) Sydnye and Kyle Chaisson; (Danell) Danell Jr. and Bethany Isaac; (Dwayne) Courtney, Amber, and DeJeane' Isaac; (Camel Ray Jr.) Cameron Allison; (D' Ande') Pilar Allison; (Jarrett) Jada Martin.
