Mary Lynn Aguillard Hunt's Obituary
This obituary has been written in the present tense … as Mary is still …because she is with God and He is Alive.
Mary Lynn Aguillard Hunt was carried home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the age of 65. This is where she now resides.
Mary, having always been “one of a kind”, is the only one of eight children to have been delivered by her dad in the family home instead of being born in a hospital. She is a very out-spoken person: saying what she means and meaning what she says …but this is always done out of love and out of a need to be truthful as a strong, God-fearing woman should be. Mary holds in high regard the value of strong bonds between family, as well as the strong bonds between individuals and their circle of friends. She never tires of reaching out to family and friends to keep abreast of events or changes in their lives. She has a sharp wit about her and is known to bring laughter to others through her snippy and hilarious comments. She is so intelligent and studious. She is a former student of LSUE and LSU and is a graduate of UL. She is a retired foreign language instructor at the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain College and a retired piano teacher. She is a retired wife, mother, and home school teacher. Because of Marys’ proficiency in the teaching field, her children are extremely well educated. Because of Marys’ love for Jesus and His Truth, her children are filled with faith, hope, and love.
Mary enjoys reaching out to or being with loved ones, playing with cats and dogs, reading, playing piano, listening to Christian music, taking walks, and … green grapes. Certainly, Jesus has lots and lots of green grapes.
Family members who are expecting to follow Mary home one day are her husband, Dwayne Alan Hunt; her daughter, Harmony Claire Hunt Mahler (Matt); two sons, Alexander Morgan Hunt and Marshall Josiah Hunt; four grandchildren, Noble Mahler, Sterling Mahler, Sawyer Mahler, and Grayson Hunt; six siblings, Nelwyn Hannon (Sam), Charlene Killmer (Arden), Mark Aguillard (Deborah), Bruce Aguillard (Ramona), Rose Marie Johnson, and Shelly Welsh (William); 7 nieces, 6 nephews, 17 great nieces, 13 great nephews, 1 great-great nephew, and 2 great-great nieces.
Family members whom Mary has followed home are her parents, Berlyn Aguillard and Audrey LeJeune; her brother, Dexter Aguillard (Linda); and her nephew, Jared Hannon … plus countless friends and relatives. What a joyous reunion this will be!!!
