Aunt Lou was kind, loving, and very strong. She really lived her life, and was always happy to share some of that experience with a word (or two) of wisdom, usually capped off with an old Cajun saying. I remember chilly mornings around Christmas, hunkered up in front of the old gas heater at Maman Aline's, eating Lou's amazing (and very spicy) boudin. Lou'd be talking about her kids and grandkids, about Christmases past, about family. She was always happy talking about that, always so proud.
Miss you. So glad I got a chance to visit few months ago. Love you , Sherline.
