Peggy, Jeff and Junior,
I am so sorry to read of your sweet daddy’s death. I know that he is rejoicing in heaven with Mrs. Myrtice. I will always remember his kindness to me since I was very young. He always had a way of teasing me with a smile so I always felt his good nature behind every word. These last few years while I was working at church, he would drop by every now and then just to say hi and chat for a minute. We had many visits at Champagne’s grocery, blocking the aisles with our shopping carts. I will miss those visits. I’m so very sorry that I did not hear about his passing until Friday afternoon. I missed the opportunity to pay my last respects and say goodbye. I will hold his memory in my heart and pray for all of you in this sorrowful time.
