Linda and my late wife Joanne were very good work buddies at Aetna. I only saw Linda on three occasions, but each one was definitely memorable. First, there was the crayfish boil on Capitol Ave in Hartford CT before she moved to Boulder where Louis was working. Next it was the time we went to Boulder to visit her and meet Louis. She was a great tour guide. However, her pet ferret did creep me out a bit. I had never met a ferret before. There are very inquisitive. Next was her wedding in Iota. This was before the advent of cell phones or internet. It was the beginning of a blizzard in CT. We made it to the airport, only to learn our flight was cancelled. Actually, the airport closed. Luckily, we got the last room at the Sheraton in the airport. It took 3 days to get a new flight. We missed half of the pre-wedding festivities, but finally got there. I will never forget the wedding reception. It was at a Mardi Gras outdoor festival and you git 2 armlengths of good tickets. There were food booths galore. All home cooking. And the people were so friendly. If you asked anyone for the recipe, they'd take your address and mail it to you. It was always on my bucket list to make it back and visit, but it refer seemed to happen. My wife Joanne was sick a lot for about 10 years before he passed 5 years ago and was afraid to travel. I'm sure she was was there to greet Linda at the pearly gates! Again, my prayers and condolences to to Louie and all the Keydash family.
