Lezia Gary Vidrine's Obituary
Lezia "Ma Den" Gary Vidrine passed away on Wednesday, December 03, 2014, at the age of 90.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas More
Catholic Church in Eunice. Father Clinton Sensat will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery
in Eunice.
Lezia is survived by one son, Wilson Vidrine, Jr. and wife Clara of Eunice; three grandchildren, Chawana
Fontenot and husband Carl of Eunice, Brent Vidrine, and Cory Vidrine and wife Florence; six great
grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; three step-grandchildren, Melissa, Roxanne, and Lisa Comeaux;
five step-great grandchildren; and one step great-great grandchild.
Lezia was preceded in death by her parents, Aviles Gary and Doris Crochet Gary; her husband, Wilson
Vidrine, Sr.; four brothers, Rufus Gary, Melvin "Red" Gary, Nolan Gary, and Aldon Gary; and one great
grandchild, Sage Vidrine.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at
Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon David Guillory at 6 p.m.. The
funeral home will reopen on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at 8 a.m. for visitation until the
time of service.
