Leise Carrier, 92 of Eunice, Louisiana died on Friday, January 14, 2011, at Eunice Manor in Eunice, La.
Born Monday, September 9, 1918 in Acadia Parish, Louisiana.
She is survived by her two sons, Calvin Ray Carrier (Mary Ruth) of Patterson, LA and Kenneth Carrier (Deborah) of Eunice, LA, three daughters, Barbara Klein (Al) of Eunice, LA, Wilma Jean Klein (James) of Leonville, LA and Gloria Naquin of Basile, LA, One sister, Rose Godeau of Swords, LA; 16 grand children; 42 great grand children; 4 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mayo and Annie LeDoux Corkin; husband, Leonce J. Carrier; sister, Marie Courville; grand daughter, Leslie Marie Klein and Avery Cathrine Klein; great grand children, Joshua Joseph Klein and Maykala Naquin. A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Fr. Cedric Sonnier will be at 1:30 PM on Sunday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church of Eunice. Burial to follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery in Mowata. T he family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, January 15, 2011, at Quirk & Son Funeral Home, 121 S. 6th. Street in Eunice with a rosary @ 6:00 PM. The funeral home will reopen at 9:00 AM on Sunday for a visitation untill the service at 1:30 PM. Quirk & Son Funeral Home, 121 S. 6th. Street of Eunice is in charge of arrangements.
