It is with a heavy heart that I write to each of you. I am so sorry not to be there but please know my thoughts are. I still can't believe we have lost our courageous Uncle Pete. It is with pride and honor that I salute Uncle Pete.

I can't even begin to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I know your heart aches, but his memory will forever live in all of our hearts. My Uncle Pete was a very special man. He will be deeply missed! From his laugh to always telling me to be proud to be Republican (despite what the rest of the family thought), I will always carry wonderful memories of Uncle Pete.
