I'm just hearing the sad news of Mrs. Fuselier's passing. I was a student of hers at Thomas More Catholic High School in Lubbock, Texas, many years ago. Mrs. Fuselier brought tremendous energy and enthusiasm to our language arts and theatre courses. I remember her fondly and can share that she had a lasting influence as many of those in her program ended up in education. I have enjoyed a long career in the textbook publishing industry and I know that several of my classmates became accomplished teachers. Mrs. F. had a wonderful way of lighting the world on fire for us, and I'm certain that magical quality she brought to our courses both drew many of us into the field and helped us and others share a positive spirit of learning with our children and families. I am also sad to learn that Claire, who was a fellow student of mine at TMCH, passed away. That's such sad news--Claire was vivacious and inspirational in her own sweet way. I'm sending my sincerest condolences to Mr. Fuselier and all those who loved Mrs. F. & Claire. They are deeply missed but long remembered, I'm certain.
