Kathy Eileen Courville's Obituary
Kathy Eileen Courville Courville, age 66, a resident of Eunice, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026. She was born on June 21, 1959.
Kathy proudly served her country in the United States Army, a testament to her strength, dedication, and sense of duty. She spent many years working at Barbara’s Nursery in Eunice, where she was well known and loved by customers and coworkers alike. She found joy in caring for plants and flowers, and her warm personality and kindness left a lasting impression on all who met her.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love and presence will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband, Ricky Courville; her two sons, Kevin Courville and wife Annie, and Julian Courville; one brother, Forest Courville, Jr. and wife Karen; two sisters, Clara C. Mallet, and Judy C. Roy and husband Cecil; and her three cherished grandchildren, Zakari Courville, Jack Courville, and Kekoa Courville.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Forest Courville, Sr. and Clementine Verett Courville; and her two sisters, Jeanora C. Miller and Bonnie C. Vasseur.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home, with Deacon Tim Marcantel officiating. Visitation will take place on Thursday beginning at 8:00 AM and continuing until the time of service at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Courville Cemetery in Eunice.
Kathy will be remembered for her love of family, her gentle spirit, and the beauty she brought into the lives of others—much like the flowers she so lovingly tended.
