Jimmy "Fred" Ware's Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the loss of their loved one, Jimmy “Fred” Ware. Jimmy passed away in his sleep at home on December 29, 2024, at the age of 67. A
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice with Fr. Sam Fontana Celebrant. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Oakdale.
At the request of family, visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 with a Rosary at 7:00 PM by Fr. Sam Fontanta. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Thursday until time of departure for Services.
Jimmy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. Jimmy will be dearly missed by all who know and love him, especially his wife, Sandy Coker Ware, AKA his beloved “Ethel.” Jimmy will also be dearly missed by his Nanny and Paren, Janice and Steve Babineaux.
Jimmy leaves behind one son, Johnny Edward Robinson, and his wife Amy; one daughter, Kandy Andrepont-David, and her husband Joey; three stepsons, Scotty Richard, Sr., Steven Robinson, and Billy Robinson; one stepdaughter, Jenny Robinson; 22 grandchildren, Lil’ Scotty, Lil’ Janice, Tanner, Mackenzi, Korby, Avery, Tucker, Marissa, Kaitlin, Paytin, Ashlin, McKenzie, Rowdy, Ava, Bentlin, Bradlin, Kaitlyn, Brogan, Banx, Banner, John “JW,” and Emma Claire; 17 great-grandchildren, Jesslyn, Brooklyn, Shailyn, Piper, Paisleigh, Asher, Michael, Ava, Emeri, Michael Cade, Paisley, Ronnie, Hyndrix, Roger “Lee,” Toryn, Hunter, and Joshua; three brothers, Harvey Ware, Harold Ware, Jr., and Damon Ray Huffman; two sisters, Patsy Leggett and Gaydale Hodge; and his stepmother, Martha Ware.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Ware, Sr. and Gladys Odom Ware; two brothers, James Mason Ware and Aubrey Lee Ware; and two grandsons, Cade Robinson and Garrett Spencer.
Jimmy worked in the oilfield as a motorman for most of his 20+ year career. Jimmy was a member of the St. Thomas More Knights of Colombus in Eunice.
Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family, being outside, tending to his animals, camping, fishing, collecting pins while traveling, and eating his zoo-zoos.
Pallbearers will be Korby Robinson, Tanner Robinson, Tucker Richard, Mackenzi Richard, Kaitlin Robinson and Rowdy Robinson. Honorary pallbearers are Ashlin Robinson, John “JW” David, Emma Claire David and Marissa Richard.
