Jimmy Raymor Guy's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jimmy Raynor Guy announce his passing on June 28th 2012 at his home. Originally from Houston, Texas he spent his last few years in Basile. He loved the small town life and its people. Jimmy was an engineer by trade , retired for several years. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Marvin and Bessie Guy. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Jimmy will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Anna Darce' Guy, his children, Teresa Gonzalez and companion, Scott Bowman of Houston, TX, Sherry Bergeron and husband Mike Bergeron of Basile, and Linda Dugal and husband Bryan Dugal of Lafayette, LA. His grandchildren Laura Gonzalez, Brandy Pelican, Candice Cooley and husband Cody Cooley, Danielle Leckelt and husband Gerrick Leckelt, Amber Fortenberry and husband Brandon Fortenberry, Brandon James, Kaylee Bergeron, and Garrett Dugal, and his great grandchildren, Hunter Pelican, Madison Pelican, Chloe Cooley, Claire Cooley, Briggs Cooley, Will Leckelt, Gabby Leckelt and Gracie Leckelt, Wyatt Lafleur, and Sophie Fortenberry. He will also be missed by his stepchildren, Willie Schutz of Lafayette, Weeks Campbell of Maurice and Donald E Ward of Destin, Florida, and his step grandchildren Austin Schutz of Baton Rouge, Emily Ward of Destin Florida and Ian David Ward of Destin, Florida. His company will also be missed by his life long friend, George Dortch of Long Beach, California. A celebration of life will be held at his home on Sunday, July 1st at 12:00A
