James "Yank" Maxfield, Sr.'s Obituary
James "Yank" Maxfield, Sr. passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015, at the age of 77.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015,
at 2 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral
Home in Eunice. Burial will follow at Chataignier Baptist Cemetery.
James is survived by three sons, James "Jimmy"
Maxfield, Jr. of Eunice, Jonathon Maxfield of Eunice,
and Brian K. Maxfield and wife Veronica of
Eunice; one sister, Barbara Mercer of Nashville, TN;
one brother, Paul Dean Maxfield of Arizona;
six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by his wife Gwendolyn Courville Maxfield; his parents, Paul Maxfield and
Essie Rassmussen Hafner; one son,
Jeremy Maxfield; and two sisters, Shirley Bowman and Norma Clark.
At the request of the family, visitation will be Tuesday, September 8, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. on Wednesday for visitation until the time of service.
