We met when I moved across from her at Tower Oaks about 6 years ago. She was the sweetest, most kind lady I've known. Our connection was Basile. I lived there the second half of first grade until fourth grade. We knew the same people and places.(about 1944-48). These last years she was cheerful even going through so many illinesses. Jan is a very caring daughter.I will cherish having known her.
How BLESSED I was to have known such a wonderful lady and was privileged to call her my friend. She was feisty and fresh but as kind and gentle as a lamb. I will miss her and Tower Oaks feels the void that her passing has created. She was a true fighter and never complained. She was always concerned about others even on the days she was most ill. We could learn a lot from her example, to keep living as long as the Lord gives us breathe. Jan( her beloved Jan ...Sha as she referred to you always) thank you for sharing your Mother with us.
