Hazel L. Bordelon's Obituary
Hazel L. Bordelon passed away on Tuesday October 1, 2013 at the age of 88.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday October 3, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Hazel is survived by three daughters, Emma LeBlue and husband Cecil of Eunice, Belinda Menard and husband Harold of Eunice, and Barbara Rainwater and her companion of LaRose; four sons, Johnny Bordelon of Eunice, Edwin Bordelon and his wife Martha of Shreveport, Frankie Bordelon of Simmesport, and Warren Bordelon and his wife Daphne of Columbus, MS; one sister, Lydia Briscoe of Elton; one brother, Rogers LaFleur of Elton; eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Louisa David LaFleur; her husband, Frank Bordelon; three sisters, Eva Fontenot, Clara LaFleur, and June LaFleur; and five brothers, Sidney, Edward, Mancel, Roland, Earl, and Howard LaFleur.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Wednesday October 2, 2013 at 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon David Guillory at 6 p.m. that evening. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. on Thursday morning for visitation until time of service.
