Harriet S. Blanchard's Obituary
A funeral mass for Mrs. Harriet Sattler Blanchard, 74, will be held on Tuesday, September 15, at 11 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Fr. Austin Leger will officiate.
Harriet passed away at her residence on Saturday, September 12.
She was a member of the Pink Ladies and the Catholic Daughters of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
She is survived by her two daughters, Carolyn Trahan and her husband Jesse of Eunice and Suzette Newton and her husband David of Baton Rouge; her son, Allen Keith Blanchard of Baton Rouge; brother, Joseph C. Sattler of Eunice; sisters, Madeline Gardiner of Crowley, Marjorie Cormier of Broussard, Norma Brinkman of Church Point and Elaine Mosley of Eunice; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband George A. Blanchard; parents, Joseph and Odile Guidry Sattler; sister, Bonnie Manuel.
Visitation will begin on Monday, September 14 at 2 PM until 10 PM. A rosary will be prayed on Monday evening, time pending.
