Harold Dean Begnaud, Sr.'s Obituary
Harold Dean Begnaud, Sr. passed away on Friday, July 3, 2015, at the age of 67.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home
in Eunice. Fr. Charles McMillin will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Vickie Ledoux Begnaud of Eunice who loved and cherished
Harold who was the love of her life, her soul mate, and her best friend; three daughters, Crystal
Begnaud Trick and husband Jason of New Orleans, Jill D Vincent of Eunice, and Jena D. Courville and
husband Kory of Prairieville; two sons, Harold Dean Begnaud, II and wife Mandy of New Orleans and
Coby Vincent and wife Kelly of Eunice; two sisters, Bobbie Fontenot and husband Dean of Eunice and
Judy Reed of Eunice; four brothers, twin brother Harry D. Begnaud and wife Elaine of Eunice, Michael
Keith Begnaud and wife Alicia of Eunice, Mark Begnaud and wife Jelanie of Eunice, and Herman Miller
and wife Juanita of Eunice; and eight grandchildren with one on the way this month, Madilyn Beth.
Harold was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Harry J. Begnaud and Rena Begnaud; his
mother and stepfather, Viola Miller and B.L. Miller; stepbrother, Ronald Miller; and one granddaughter
Jillavon Dene'.
Harold leaves behind his cherished wife of 22 years who was his best friend and soul mate.
Harold never met a stranger. He was a kind gentleman to everyone who knew him. He will be greatly
missed by all who knew him.
Harold proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending quality
time with his family and friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home and the staff of Heart of Hospice.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2015, from 9 a.m. and staying open all night.
A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Sunday evening by Deacon David Guillory.
