Genevieve Rozas Dischler's Obituary
Genevieve Rozas Dischler passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025 at the age of 96. A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at St. Anthony's with Father Hampton Davis Celebrant.
Genevieve was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, playing the organ at funerals and masses. She was a reader, lay minister and brought communion to homebound parishioners. She was also a member of The Catholic Daughters and made mission trips to Haiti and Panama.
Genevieve was honored by the Lions Club as Humanitarian of the Year in 1993. She was active in the community and played tennis for decades. She was a member of the Garden Club and the Silver Bells Dance Group.
Genevieve is survived by three sons, Lou Dischler, Steve Dischler, Greg Dischler; two daughters, Vicki Dischler, Diaunne Schwartz; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Dischler, Jr.; her parents, Maius and Myra Manuel Rozas; her brother, Chester Rozas.
