Thank you all for the condolences. I only found this website today. I'm sure we were told, but things were very overwhelming when Mom died and it is only recently that the reality is finally setting in. The family is working on having a memorial bench built to be donated to Glendale. We are hoping to have an unveiling ceremony around Mardi Gras 2010. We will announce it in the Eunice News. We're very sorry to hear about Mrs. Veillon's passing. She was my principal from pre-K until 4th grade. I really enjoyed being a student at Glendale while she was principal, and I know she will be deeply missed.
Please excuse us for not being able to express our sympathy in person; but we didn't learn of your mother's passing until this afternoon (Sunday). Our prayers are for all of you that you will feel the stength and comfort only God can give you at this difficult time. May this experience draw all of you closer to Him. We are donating two Bibles in Memory of your mother. These Bibles have to potential to be read by some 4,600 persons; and will be a testimony to your mother's faith in Jesus Christ.

I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. It seems as though it were just yesterday that I saw her at mass at St. Anthony's and inquired about you and your family. She will be sorrowfully missed.
