I count myself as blessed to have been pastor to the Boone family for those few years in the 70's and 80's at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Steve and Carol continued to be our friends and were a joy to be around. I can imagine the joy in Heaven as they were reunited. Sharon and I are praying for the family and trusting that they will feel God's presence and peace in their time of sorrow.
