Dorothy "Dot" Fontenot Cunningham's Obituary
Dorothy "Dot" Fontenot Cunningham passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at the age of 76.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Friendship Baptist Church in Pine Prairie at 12:00
p.m. Pastor Kevin West will officiate. Burial will follow at Friendship Baptist Church in Pine Prairie.
"Dot" is survived by her mother, Oma Eunice Williamson of Pine Prairie; her children Cecil Cunningham of Eunice,
Reva Guillory and husband Rickey of Eunice, Ronda Bihm and husband Johnny of Eunice, and Gerald Cunningham
and Kim Peloquin of Eunice; her siblings, Nita Fontenot of Bryan, TX, Winston Fontenot and wife Charlene of Pine
Prairie, Lenny Dale Williamson and Marlo of Lafayette, Lenny Lee Williamson of Pineville, Janet Cole and Rickey of
Pine Prairie, Derwin Williamson of Pine Prairie, Trampis Williamson and Angie of Pine Prairie; a special aunt, Georgie
Ortego; her grandchildren, Joshua Cunningham, Holly Bihm and Sean Whalen, Samantha Bihm and Cameron Frey,
Jacob Bihm and Katy Douget, Andre Guillory and Sarah Tellez and son Jo'el Thomas, Justin Ashworth, and Kelsy
Ashworth; and her great-grandchildren, Zachary Paul Guillory and Emma Kate Guillory.
"Dot" was preceded in death by her father, Ferdie Fontenot; her husband, Peter Donald Cunningham; her maternal
grandparents, Charlie and Zeola West; her paternal grandparents, Hillary and Emma Fontenot; and a special aunt,
Georgie Ortego.
The family would like to extend gratitude to the doctors and staff at Opelousas General Hospital.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral
Home in Eunice. On Saturday, June 20, 2015, visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 PM at
Friendship Baptist Church in Pine Prairie.
