I am so sorry for the loss of you mother. She was a great lady with lots of spunk and I liked that about her. She will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

Dear Debra, Lora, Doug & Ray,
My deepest sympathy to all of you on the loss of your mother. I just read the notice of her passing in the April 12 edition of the Lafayette Daily Advertiser. I wish I had known earlier so I could have paid my respects to you in person, but I found out too late. I hope that she did not suffer with a long or painful illness.
I will always remember your mom's laugh and the fact that she and your dad always kept in touch with Richard and Weldon after our mom died. Richard and Weldon enjoyed their visits so much. Richard and I visited your mom and dad once after Weldon died, and we had a nice visit then. The last time I spoke with your mom was when Richard died 2 years ago. I didn't have her phone number to let her know about Richard's passing, but Mrs. Lucy Manuel found a way to get in touch with her and let her know, and she came to the funeral home. I was very happy to see her.
May God give you peace & comfort during this difficult time. My prayers will be with you,
Barbara Soileau Oppenheimer
