Darryl Keith Edmonds' Obituary
Darryl Keith Edmonds passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, at the age of 72. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 5, 2026 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating. Interment of his ashes will follow in Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Jennings.
At the request of family, visitation will be held the same day at Quirk & Son from 8:00 AM until time of Services.
Darryl proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 10:30 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiant. A visitation will take place Monday morning at 8:00 AM until the time of service. Inurnment of ashes will follow at Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Jennings with the committal service beginning at 12:30 PM.
Darryl was a native of Eunice and spent the majority of his career in the oilfield industry. He was an LSU sports fan, a skilled bowler, and served a number of years as a Boys Scout Leader. Darryl had a great love for the outdoors and was an accomplished deer and game hunter.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Kathy Biedenharn and husband Murray, Cindy Robbins and husband Mike, Pris Edmonds, Stephanie Jarreau and husband Randy, and Agnes Smarz and husband John; his brother-in-law, Gene Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews; two aunts, Mercedes Manuel Williams (Sam) and Joan Edmonds.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eastwood J. Edmonds and Loretta Manuel Edmonds; his sister, Linda Johnson; his uncle, Jessie Edmonds.
