Darrell Joseph Dies' Obituary
Darrell Joseph Dies passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at the age of 79. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 18. 2025 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Father Sam Fontana officiating. Burial will follow in St. Thomas More Cemetery.
At the request of family, visitation will be held the same day from 9:00 AM until time of Services with a Rosary at 1:00 PM led by Meredith Roy, Darrell’s granddaughter.
Darrell is survived by his wife, Marilyn Bertrand Dies; two sons, Kevin Dies (Chalayne Porche Dies), Scott Dies (Kristin Hensley Dies); one daughter, Lisa Roy (Curtis Hunter Roy, II); three brothers, Harold Dies, Ronald Dies, Michael Dies; five grandchildren, Grayson Roy, Meredith Roy, Gracie Dies, Brass Dies and Krewe Dies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip Dies and Amynth Lavergne Dies Winn; two brothers, John Dies and Felton Dies.
