Charley Graham Hillman's Obituary
Charley Graham Hillman passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the age of 91. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
Charley left home at the young age of 15 and worked on a pipeline. Later, he was drafted and served his country during the Korean Conflict in the United States Army.
After his serving his country, he began working on the pipeline again, where he remained until his retirement, working himself to Superintendent.
He was a member of the local chapters of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
At the request of family, visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until time of Services on Tuesday, June 15, 2021.
Charley is survived by one son, Dr. Tommy Hillman, one daughter, Kathie Sholly; two sisters, Arnetha Graves, Rosa Lee Cain; two grandchildren, Abigail Louis Hillman and Charles Graham Hillman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Courville Hillman; his parents, John and Hydle Sowell Hillman; nine other siblings, being one of twelve children.
