Mrs. Fuselier was my eighth grade English teacher and also taught me at Eunice High. Her quest for excellence was so high that after having her for an English teacher your next year’s English course was basically repetitive but that’s not the only gift she gave me. Once while going through a difficult time due to domestic violence issues I was headed back from court and there she was in her driveway. We started talking and she invited me in and basically validated that domestic violence was not ok. Something I knew but coming from someone you hold in high esteem it resonates a little differently. Last night I saw your sweet Moma in a dream and once again I was reminded that I am worthy. Hugs to all of you for sharing her with her students. Your Mom was a keeper.
