Brenda Gail Monroe's Obituary
Brenda Gail Monroe of Eunice passed away from this life on Friday April 26, 2013 in her home. She was born on May 30, 1952.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tammy Lynn Brown and husband Kevin; grandchildren, Brandon Brown and Kayle Brown Bourque & husband Leonard: great grandchildren, Gabbie Dardeau, Landon Brown, Blayze Brown, Karson Brown, Weslie Bourque, and Ainslee Brown; sisters, Marie Carter, Renella Stout, Betty Glorioso, Glenda Monroe Manuel, and Audrey George; brothers, Shelby Miller and Shelton "Buddy" Meyers; and longtime companion, Wayne Sittig.
Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Odelie Williamson; father, Colton Monroe; and brother, Donald Monroe.
Brenda loved making everyone laugh. Life had its tough moments for her; she'd been in and out of hospitals and through surgeries. She always made you feel so loved when she'd see you or hear your voice on the phone. Those who knew Brenda knew she loved Elvis Presley. She leaves a great void in our lives; at least until we get to see her on the other side. Until then, she lives in our hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday May 3, 3013 at 2 PM at Word Ministries. The family will receive guests from 12 PM to 2 PM.
Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
