Bernard Courville, age 65, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will follow.
At the request of family, visitation will be held the same day from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM
Bernard is survived by his wife, Katherine Taylor Courville; his son, Derick Comeaux; three daughters, Desiree Thibodeaux, Tiana Courville, Amanda Gonzalez; his sister, Judy Cormier (Doug); five step-brothers, Derick Courville, Danny Coleman (Brenda), Ricky LeJeune (Tina), Byron Coleman (Phyllis), David Coleman (Billie) Tommy Coleman(Pamala);two half-sisters, Margie Miller (Kenny), Kristen; sister-in-law, Carol Courville; thirteen grandchildren, Nina Ardoin, Keton Thibodeaux, Trina Ardoin, Victoria Thibodeaux, Miguel Gonzalez, John Thibodeaux, Kenneth Ponthier, III, Juliana Gonzalez, Braxton Ponthier, Emmalyn Martinez, Maggie Guidry, Cameron Comeaux, Landon Comeaux; three great-grandchildren, Taysen Reed, Ryder Thibodeaux and Tyleigh Reed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Courville; his mother, Nancy Miller Coleman; his step father, Luther Coleman; his brother, Timothy Courville; his half-brother, Corky Courville; his step-brother, Chris Coleman; his step-sister, Marsha Coleman.
