Yvonne Marie Seaux Geerts was born on January 11, 1973 and passed away on October 5, 2012 at the age of 39. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday October 8, 2012 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church at 2 PM. Monsignor Robert Romero will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Yvonne is survived her Parents, Linda and stepfather Deacon Gary Gaudin of Eunice, LA; Maternal Grandmother, Ernestine Broussard of Duson, LA; Her Father, Linton J. Seaux of Rayne, LA; Her Son, Alexander Geerts of Carencro, LA; Her Daughter, Brittany Duplantis of Carencro, LA; Her Stepbrother, Stephen C. Gaudin of Crowley, LA; Her Stepsister, Yvette G. Niesel of Sydney, Australia; also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday October 7, 2012 from 8 AM until 10 PM for visitation. A Rosary will be prayed by Father Nathan Comeaux Sunday at 7:30 PM. The Funeral Home will reopen at 9 AM Monday until service. Quirk & Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
