Praying for strength for the family
How I remember all the slumber parties we had a.t your mom's house Bev. She was always making sure we were ok.
I'M SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS AND SORRY I COULD NOT BE AT THE FUNERAL. I'M SURE YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE GOOD AND FOND MEMORIES OF MAMIE.I DON'T KNOW ANY OF MAMIE'S CHILDREN AND I'M SURE YOU DON'T KNOW ME. I'M A COUSIN, MY MOTHER, EDNA BROWN POUSSON, WAS UNCLE CHARLIE'S SISTER. STELLA DUHON
To Donna Sue and family I send my love and prayers for your loss but Heaven's gain. I did not know your Mom well and only saw her a few times but I will always remember her beautiful smile. You could tell she was a Godly woman and loved life. Heaven has got to be rejoicing because another precious saint has made it home. God Bless Nancy
Bill, Bev and Donna Sue and Families,It is on days like today that remembering from afar, while preferring to be so near, that the costs of being away seem so great. They say that at times in our lives when our emotions run high we tend to remember the smallest of details. On one of the last occasions that I spoke with my own Mom she told me that Mamie had called. Her call to Mom was about encouragement and to reassure her my brother Jessie was home and in a better place. Pain was no stranger to your Mom; she bore it with such grace and patience, and still had strength sufficient for her cup of goodness to flow and restore others. And so to the great grandchildren, the grandchildren and to those fortunate to have called her 'Mom', what a magnificent lady you have been privileged to know up-close, a great mom, a pure one-of-a-kind personality, an angel amongst us all. She is who you are. May her spirit forever live with you. We love you. Godspeed.
My sorrows extended to the entire family of Miss Mamie. Miss Mamie was a wonderful Person that enriched so many lives that she touched. May she Forever Rest in Peace.
