Willie Roy D. Fontenot passed away Saturday December 8, 2012 at the age of 87. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday December 11, 2012 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Father Mark Melancon will officiate. Entombment will follow at St. Paul Mausoleum. Willie is survived by one son, Craig Soileau and wife Candy of Eunice; one daughter, Deborah Soileau of Eunice; five grandchildren, Jerry Soileau, Michelle Simar & husband Josh, Charlie Soileau, Zoe Maroulis, Nico Maroulis; two great grandchildren, Madeline and Jenna Kathryn. She is preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Edna Manuel Demourelle; her husband, Belvin Fontenot; one brother, Clyde Demourelle; two sisters, Bernice Guillory and Evana Lavergne. At the request of the family, visitation will be on Monday December 10, 2012 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home from 1 PM to 9 PM. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon Chuck Ortego at 6 PM on Monday. The funeral home will reopen on Tuesday at 8 AM for visitation until service. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
