Wilda McCauley Smith passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at the age of 90.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Wilda is survived by one son, Derrel "BB" Smith and wife Michelle; two sisters, Essie Dean Hoffpauir and Pat Lynn Esthay; one brother, Jimmy McCauley; four grandchildren, Robyn Smith, Dustin Smith, Caleb Smith, and Brandi Smith Ogea; and five great-grandchildren, Cade Smith, Jayce Smith, Austyn Smith, Addie Smith, and Kristen Ogea.

Wilda was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Smith; her parents, Patrick McCauley and Martha Veillion McCauley; one son, Robert Smith; two sisters, Winnie Morvant Picard and Bossett Reed; and three grandchildren, David Smith, Michael Smith, and Benjamin Smith.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon David Guillory. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday for visitation until the time of service.
