A funeral service for Wesley "Jack" Richard, age 74, will be held on Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at 1 PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church with burial to follow at Maxie Cemetery in Maxie, LA. Pastor Kevin Richard will officiate. Jack passed away on Friday, October 31, 2008, at American Legion Hosptial in Crowley. Jack is survived by his daughter, Tiffany R. Fontenot of LeBlanc, LA; a son, Bryan Richard of Baton Rouge; 2 step-daughter, Toni Veillon of Eunice., LA and Jo Mondo of Dallas, TX; 2 step-sons, Paul Landry of Morse, LA and Jude Landry of Lafayette, LA; a brother, Kenny Richard of Crowley; two sisters, Eathel Wyatt and Ollie"Sis" Wyatt both of Crowley. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Cynthia Welch Richard; a son, Gerald Dwight Richard; two brothers, William I. Richard and Buford L. Richard. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 10 PM on Sunday and again on Monday from 8 AM until service time.
